Institutional Sales – Asset Management recruitment
Responsibilities
• Develop new institutional business opportunities in Hong Kong, with key prospects, clients and consultants.
• Develop strong relationships leads to new mandates or injections into existing funds.
• Service assigned Hong Kong clients who have segregated accounts.
• Customize investment solutions to suit investment needs of prospects and clients.
• Work on detailed analysis such as asset liabilities, data research and analysis, investment return, etc. in particular for pension and insurance clients.
• Ensure RFPs and reports are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Contribute ideas for new products that will be suitable to the markets assigned.
• Lead or participate in other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• Initiate ideas to enhance corporate or product positioning in the market.
• Obtain and act on feedback from other departments /offices/ investment centres on the quality of support / work done.
• Obtain and act on feedback from prospects / clients, if any.
Requirements
• Degree holder, preferably in finance and actuarial disciplines.
• At least 5 years’ experience in marketing or investment functions within funds management or related company; with experience in client servicing and dealing with sophistical institutional clients at a senior level.
• Experience in handling clients with China background is a must.
• Pension experience is a plus.
• Team player.
• Excellent written and spoken English, and proficient in spoken Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese).
• Outstanding presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical, and good time management skills.
• Innovative in coming up with new ideas in response to prospects’ needs.
