Institutional Sales – Asset Mgmt recruitment

High calibre sales professional with extensive experience of selling to the institutional marketplace sought by this prestigious global asset manager.

The successful candidate will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the FI sector, ideally to include exposure to the Insurance industry, and a strong asset management background.  Experience must include exposure to a range of investment and fund related products.  The role will involve selling a range of investment solutions and requires applicants to demonstrate strong technical knowledge, ideally complemented by a relevant professional qualification.

The ideal individual will be a commercially focussed and results-driven institutional sales professional with a strong customer focus, good judgement and a high level of risk awareness. The ability to work effectively in a team environment is essential and will be complemented by the desire to achieve in a highly competitive marketplace.

Key purpose of the role will be to identify prospective clients, attend prospect/client meetings and close new business deals.  The successful candidate will work closely with fund managers and product teams in order to gain a deeper understanding of the firm's investments product range and will also be involved in marketing and sales presentations
