Institutional Sales Director / Asset Management / UK Pension Funds / Insurance Houses / Family Offices

The Role

Focus on developing pension and investment business to large Corporates and Financial Institutions.

Work as part of the Global Asset Management team within Global Banking, Institutional Sales.

Providing and supporting the full range of Global Asset Management capabilities, taking a consultative sales process to a defined list of target institutions.

Generate proactive business opportunities.

Hold regular portfolio reviews with the relevant Global Relationship Managers on a client by client basis.

Responsible for the end to end sales / client on boarding process

Achievement of annual financial revenue and AUM targets

Represents the global business at conferences, through trade body participations, where required.

Promote the Global Institutional Asset Management business.

Establish Global Banking relationship and compliance compatibility through analysing opportunities per client.

Develop business with - Corporate and Financial Institution pension schemes, other Financial Institutions e.g. Insurance companies, Building Societies, Family Offices, Treasury operations

Skills / Experience

A proven track record of selling pension and investment solutions to Corporates and Financial Institutions

Must have experience selling to UK Pension Funds, Insurance Houses / Family Offices

Relationship skills and evidence of attaining a "trusted adviser" status

Cross-selling skills to existing clients

Range and extent of customer contacts

Investment Management knowledge.

Investment Management industry sales processes / business methodologies.

Knowledge of Industry trends and regulatory knowledge.

Competitor knowledge, including products.

IMA / CFA qualified
