Institutional Sales Executive/Product Specialist
Experience with developing and executing sales and marketing plans is required. Will participate in, and may lead, RFP and RFI responses. Experience in the sale and marketing of fund-of-funds products to plan sponsors and investment consultants would be a plus.
Professional Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and MBA or CFA designation.
- The ability to travel within North America up to 25% of the time, occasionally on short notice.
- Strong overall communicator with excellent writing skills and high attention to detail.
- A dynamic self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to be part of a small team
- Candidates should have a proven track record of raising institutional assets for long-only equity strategies.
- Experience serving as a product expert with the ability to successfully respond to client, consultant and prospect questions is essential.
- Track record of success in responding to formal RFP and RFIs, and undertaking the complete process from preparation through delivery.
- A strong team spirit and an ability to collaborate with Legato’s existing team will be essential.
- Candidates with experience in raising assets over time for single manager strategies may also be considered.
