POSITION OVERVIEW:
IPD, a part of MSCI, is looking for a Sales Specialist to manage an existing portfolio of clients and the conversion of new clients who will subscribe to the information services that IPD provide. IPD has an extensive bank of contacts and the candidate will be expected to capitalize on established contacts as well as extend the list of contacts known to IPD in the UK. The client base comprises property companies, fund houses, pension funds, banks and consultants to the property industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the sales of IPD services to pension funds, property companies and fund houses across the UK
- Support the IPD Product Managers in creating and enhancing the IPD services to meet client needs
- Build a pipeline of potential clients
- Build and develop a network of contacts within the property industry
- Represent IPD at industry functions, promote the brand of IPD
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ambitious and dedicated, you will be self motivated to develop your role and the business areas you are involved in. You will demonstrate the following skills:
- Several years relevant experience in consultative sales and account management gained within the professional services sector (ideally in the property industry)
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work loads
- Evidence of leadership and influencing skills both with clients and internally within the business
- Proactive, dynamic and positive attitude to learning and fulfilling the role to a high standard
