Overview

The Institutional Securities Management Reporting group is seeking to fill a Manager position that requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, technical, people, and communication skills. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of reporting for the Global Institutional Securities Division. Responsibilities of the group include monthly profitability reporting, forecasting and budgeting, return metrics reporting, compensation analytics, and analytics on capital and balance sheet usage. The individual will work closely with Product Controllers, Funding Controllers, and Finance Management to understand factors that drive capital and asset returns and build the reporting capabilities to support it. This position requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong communication and PC skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Primary Responsibilities

• Produce and analyze risk adjusted return on assets and capital, and shareholder value add metrics that are presented to Senior Management.
• This will include calculation and attribution of revenues, compensation and other projected costs, equity and long-term debt funding, and liquidity at a detailed business line level to derive return metrics under various Basel capital rules, both on a current and forecasted basis.
• Assist with revenue and expense forecast processes for the ISG division.
• Produce ad-hoc value added analytics as warranted by business needs and the market environment to support strategic management decision making.

• Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting/Statistics or related field
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and follow up
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and technical skills (including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills)
• Must have strong work ethic (be willing to do what it takes to get the job done)
• Previous experience in return analytics desirable.

Skills Desired:
Prior experience with MS Access.
