One of Silicon Valley's most innovative and forward-thinking companies is looking for Instructional Designers (*** MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE).
Individuals will be tasked with developing learning materials for internal employee use. Types of training may include product knowledge, sales, store systems and manager skills. This position requires a skill set that maps to the demands of the 21st century adult learner. The learning experience will be offered globally so prior experience designing content for a global audience is highly desired. The Instructional Designer will be expected to set creative standards for a blended approach to delivery, including classroom learning, small group discussion and discovery-based experiences as well as on-line learning, podcasts, interactive video, just-in-time learning and assessment tools.
Position requirements:
* BA in Instructional Design (or related) with 5+ years developing technical training solutions in a high-tech company environment
* Experience developing both instructor-led and self-paced training delivered through a variety of methods including classroom, web, and mobile devices
* Experience in the creation of innovative Sales Training solutions
* MUST have experience designing training using a Mac
* Proficiency with Adobe products and Keynote is desired
* Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Prior classroom experience teaching trainers how to deliver training successfully to a variety of global audiences is desired
* Position may involve some international travel
