The person in this position will provide internal learning development services to our line of business. Works under the supervision of the team manager and support of lead instructional designers to develop and document instructor-led, paper-based and technology delivered curricula or performance support solutions. Position location: Prefer to be in Nashville, TN area. Position may be based in one of the ACS offices located in: Allen Park, MI, Cary, NC, Cherry Hill, NJ, Chesapeake, VA, Indianapolis, IN, Little Falls, NJ, or Tempe, AZ. Other locations are a possibility for right candidate. Responsibilities Consult with internal clients and subject-matter-experts to assess training needs and propose learning solutions Design and develop professional level courseware for customer care center applications and processes Produce quality results in a fast-paced virtual work environment. Collaborate on training plans and blended learning implementation strategies. Provide quality assurance and peer reviews on design plans and instructional materials. Participate in meetings requiring close interactions with various project stakeholders, including clients, SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and end-users. Self-direct the work-load and track all work and schedules to ensure that all work is completed within scheduling and budgeting parameters QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS 4+ years experience in curriculum design, instructional design or technical writing Strong working knowledge of human resource benefits administration (defined benefit, defined contribution and/or health/welfare) Expert proficiency with Microsoft Word, including use of Templates and Macros; Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Working knowledge of at least one development tool (e.g. Captivate). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Strong consultation skills on design and development of course materials; Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with both internal clients and co-workers Ability to effectively work independently and in a virtual team environment Excellent written and oral communication skills. Express technical information clearly and simply to non-technical persons. Detail oriented Undergraduate degree in Instructional Design, Education or related discipline .or equivalent experience PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Masters degree in Instructional Design, Education or related discipline.
