Instructional Systems Designer

You have solid experience designing, developing and maintaining online and instructor-led learning solutions; and are ready for new challenges that stretch your talents even further. At our Colorado Springs location, you will work closely with subject matter experts to propose, design and develop training solutions that meet the needs of our employees. We’ll rely on you to develop and maintain facilitator guides, simulations, electronic job aids, multi-media courses and participant materials, as well as install, maintain and support new learning solutions. In addition, you will conduct needs analyses and evaluate learning outcomes to facilitate improvements or propose new projects.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent Web development, graphics and multimedia skills, as well as 3+ years of design/development experience that includes:

  • A strong background in ADDIE model, performance objective design and storyboard development
  • Development of re-usable instructor-led courses, eLearning courses, job aids and simulation exercises in an LCMS/LMS framework
  • Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and concepts
  • Experience utilizing Web applications, survey tools and courseware authoring tools (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Photo Shop Elements, Lectora, Captivate, InDesign and InCopy (preferred)
  • Experience deploying learning through a Learning Management System (preferred)
  • BS/BA in Business or Education (preferred)

    • Minimum starting annualized salary: $47,931 + DOE.
