INSTRUCTOR, CONSTRUCTION Seeking an individual with a minimum of three years supervisory experience working in the field of construction. Knowledge and skills in basic construction, electrical and plumbing is required. Certificate, diploma, or degree in field is highly desirable. Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills. Teaching experience is desirable. Security clearance is required. Instructor will teach on the campus of the Augusta Youth Detention Center as part of a contract partnership between Augusta Technical College and the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. Application Deadline: Until filled. INSTRUCTOR, SPEECH Seeking an individual with a Master's degree in Speech, Theater Arts, or Speech and Drama from a regionally accredited college or university. Work experience should include those competencies, skills, and knowledge levels which the instructor will be expected to teach. Desired skills include teaching experience at the postsecondary level, excellent human relations skills, effective oral and written communication skills, knowledge of common software programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the ability to implement technology into instruction.
