Instrumentation Engineer
Client that designs constructs gas processing plants refineries is looking for an Instrumentation Engineer to join their team. You need a BS degree in Engineering and 7-15+ years of experience supporting heavy industrial plant EPC projects, ideally in the oil gas industry. Client offers excellent pay and benefits package. Responsibilities
- Design development of instrumentation control systems for gas processing plants refineries
- Prepare instrumentation calculations for control valves, flow orifices, and relief valves
- Develop instrumentation installation drawings, data sheets specifications according to recognized industry standards client specifications
- Assist in the technical development of assigned project PIDs
- Develop technical tabulation to support the selection of instrumentation and control systems
- Review and checking of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements
Requirements
- 7-15+ years of experience as an Instrument Engineer supporting large heavy industrial plant (gas, refinery, process plant, etc...) EPC projects
- You need to be proficient in sizing specifying control valves from scratch
- You need experience specifying metering instrumentation devices
- Some experience out on the construction site performing loop checks is needed
- BS degree in Engineering
- Experience using Intergraph InTools software is a big plus
