Rivanna Water Sewer Authority located in Charlottesville, VA seeks to fill the following regular full-time positions. Instrumentation Technician Successful candidates must be able to install, test, program, repair, calibrate, inspect and maintain metering and recording instruments, controlling devices, data logging and display equipment, communications and telemetry systems; and does related work and assignments as required. Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or other designated person. Successful candidates will have a combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school, vocational school and a minimum of two years' experience with PLC programming, SCADA, process control and instrumentation installation and repair. Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License. Maintenance Mechanics Successful candidates must be able to perform advanced aspects of mechanical and electrical repairs/replacement of equipment. Work schedule is M-F, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., rotating on-call schedule is required. Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or other designated person. Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Virginia Driver's License and ability to obtain a Class A CDL. Minimum 2-years experience in industrial or utility setting in a related maintenance field preferred.
