What do I need to become a State Farm Agent?

Our agents come from a variety of backgrounds including but not limited to: Business Owner, Vice President, Sales Manager, Sales Representative, Insurance Sales, Personal Banker, B2B, Branch Managers, Financial Services Representative, and many more. You do not need to have an insurance background.

Our process takes about 40 to 60 days to become an approved candidate and then you view the weekly openings for agencies and YOU decide when and where you would like to become an agent
