Are you an experienced Claims Administrator? Do you specialise in Home or Motor Claims Insurance? Looking to work for large reputable organisation? Well then this is the job for you! Our client is looking for a Claims administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. You will be required to provide legendary claims outcomes whilst processing, reviewing and settling claims for this organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Settle Claims with in service level agreements
- Action new claims within delegated authority levels
- Manage customers throughout the claims process to provide a legendary customer experience
- Action claims related mail (including emails, faxes, documents)
- Determine Indemnity and accept/reject claims
- Determine liability and accept/reject claims
- Ensure timelines, regularity accuracy of claim payments.
- Negotiate settlements with insured and third parties where applicable.
- Prepare declinature letters for Team Leader/Technical Officer approval
- Ensuring effective follow up and review of active claims to improve finalisation rates
- Update reserves/estimates accurately to reflect on-going claim cost
- Customer complaint resolution
- Liaise and provide instructions to external parties, including recommended repairers/solicitors/recovery agents/assessors/external consultants/investigators/First Response Unit other internal departments who assist with commercial motor claims
- Take inbound calls and provide excellent customer service
- Referral of suspected fraudulent claims to Risk Investigations
- Identify and notify potential recoveries to the Recoveries unit
- General duties/projects as required.
The successful applicant will have;
- Claims Administrator experience preferably in either Home or Motor Claims Insurance
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Commercial Acumen
