Insurance Compliance Officer recruitment
An opportunity to work for a large direct insurance company. This role, reporting to the Compliance Head is responsible for Compliance Risk Assessments and ensuring consistent practices within the region. As a subject-matter expert you will need to provide guidance and support to the Local Compliance Officers, making regular visitors to perform risk assessments then reporting findings back to the Group Compliance and Insurance Head office on a regular basis. The abiility to manage all material compliance and reputational issues involved in the region is key.
You will need to deliver all Group Complaince risk assesment methodolgy throughout the local offices and provide training on new policies and follow-up on the completion status. Building key relatiopnships with the Global Insurance compliance, Group compliance and other key teams within each site is key to the sucess of this role.
Requirements
Significant relevant working experience, with good exposure within an insurance compliance role
Well-developed interpersonal, communication skills and influencing skills
Good understanding of regulatory requirements and challenges faced by all businesses within the Asia Pacific region
Good understanding of internal Group policies and standards, and insurance market practices
Able to work independently, providing guidance and working closely with the Compliance teams within the Asia Pacific region, on compliance risk assessment and compliance reporting
Have experiences in assisting regional compliance offices to participate in group-wide compliance projects to provide input from Asia and insurance perspective
