Insurance Sales Representative – Woodstock/ Marietta, GA

Our mission at the Andy Jabaley State Farm Agency is to help the people of Woodstock, Marietta, Roswell, and the surrounding metro Atlanta area manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams.  We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to join our team to assist with the sales and marketing efforts of State Farm products in our State Farm Insurance agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-          Sell Auto, Home, Life, Health and other insurance products and Financial products to personal and business customers using a consultative approach.

-          Identify prospective customers using established marketing methods.

-          Obtain new business referrals using establish referral programs.

-          Advise new and existing policyholders on coverage and protection matters.

-          Participate in various incentive programs and sales contests designed to achieve office production goals.

-          Meet individual production goals for new business in all product lines.

-          Work with Customer Service Representatives to complete service needs for existing policyholders and new prospective customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-          Completed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

-          GA Insurance License for Property, Casualty, Life, and Accident Sickness required prior to first day of employment.

-          Recent Experience in Sales based environment or suitable Sales related curriculum.

-          Highly effective Verbal and Written Communication skills.

-          Comfortable conducting sales interviews and successfully closing the sale.

-          Proficient in basic computer software and computer data entry.

-          Strong organizational skills and effective time management to be successful in a fast paced environment.

Compensation includes a base salary plus a production based incentive plan to give you control over your income.  Pre-employment assessments exams, background checks, and State of GA Insurance  licensing will be required.  Bi-lingual capabilities for Spanish/English is a plus.
