Insurance – Senior Financial Accountant recruitment

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following;

• Production and analysis of key PL and ownership of the balance sheet

• Help with analysing and explaining variances in the balance sheet clearly and concisely.

• Preparation of annual UK statutory financial accounts

• Financial regulatory compliance with regards to solvency capital requirements

• Assisting with year-end audits

Candidate requirements;

• An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

• Extensive experience within the insurance industry

• A sound knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting regulations is important to the responsibilities of the role.

• Strong communication skills

• Experience with projects or process improvement

• Strong systems knowledge desirable.
