Insurance Underwriter, UAE recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Record policy data within operating standards and issuing of policies.
- Arrangement of reinsurance and ensure reinsurance allocation is correct.
- Provide progress reports and explanations of delays, problems and solutions.
- Underwrite all lines of business in the Middle East, including engineering business
- Develop and underwrite the allocated classes of business to achieve the business plan.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Economics or Finance, ideally ACCA/CFA/CA, preferably with Professional qualification either in CII, ACII, FCII or equivalent.
- Must have underwriting experience for at least 5 years, with some experience in underwriting in an insurance organization in the GCC.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- GCC experience is essential.
Arabic is an advantage
