3. Work with all MRA team members to ensure collaboration and integration of proper testing recommendations and the integration of program measurement learnings for both real time program changes and future program designs.
4. Facilitate the integration and fellowship of IMP resources—both internal and agency resources their partner in Global IMP family care—to create open communication, trust, knowledge and idea transfer, and cross-functional career development.
5. Provide leadership to ensure the department attracts, develops and retains the best people. Foster an environment which motivates a diverse team to fully use all capabilities to achieve the desired business results.
ORGANIZATION:
This position reports to the Vice President, Global Integrated Marketing Planning, and provides day to day work direction to several commercial program managers leaders and associated team members specialized in integrated marketing plan development, implementation, and tracking for the consumer businesses in the U.S. and Canada. The incumbent also determines priorities, provides resources, and establishes control to ensure results across the assigned brands.
Key customers include Sector and Brand Unit management, the marketing teams, customer development teams, IMP management and outside creative agencies.
Customers expect overall leadership in all phases of integrated marketing plan development to ensure that commercial plans are compatible with annual brand strategies, and the longer-term strategic direction for each business. Customers also expect “creativity” in program development, accurate and timely implementation of plans, and appropriate analysis to measure the effectiveness in achieving specific objectives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education required: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Position requires at least 10 years of senior level experience in all aspects of marketing communication and plan development.
Background would include broad experience in consumer products and a variety of product categories or industries. Position requires a solid understanding of consumer/shopper/customer communication touch-points. Previous leadership/management experience (either on the client or agency side) in creation of marcom elements and/or media plans is required with emphasis on integrated marketing planning and implementation.
A strong record of success is required.
Critical Skills/Qualifications: People and Process Management, collaboration and integrated marketing conceptual and functional vision and leadership skills required. The incumbent must be influential with peers, associates, internal customers and agencies and must be connected with key external industry leaders.
