Integration Director

Position Description:

The Director will be responsible for developing and deploying an executable post merger integration strategy to assist in making business decision and implementing improvements that increase Catalyst’s company performance in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, technology, financial management, operations, and organizational development.

The role provides enterprise leadership and support for activities ranging from due diligence in a pre-sale environment to the execution of critical integration PMO activities. This range of responsibilities includes, among others, synergy realization and value capture planning, planning and management of transaction closure and Day 1 to Day 150+ post-integration activities and creation and management of the Transition Services Agreement. Additionally, the Manager will be highly engaged in business integration activities that directly relate to rapidly sharing and implementing the Catalyst core principles with newly acquired employees and organizations. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Creating a scalable and repeatable integration plan that encompasses the adoption of relevant tools/techniques to meet business objectives, financial synergies and post-integration activities;
• Overseeing the Transition Services Agreement (TSA), and related agreements, including TSA exit strategies and post merger relationships;
• Managing large, complex projects that are designed to implement cost-effective, creative business and technology solutions;
• Leading and implementing change management strategies that align and support Catalyst’s organizational development, corporate culture initiatives and internal brand strategies.

KEY STAKEHOLDER ACTIVITY:

The Manager will interact with key leaders from all areas of the business most notably Corporate Development, Finance, Technology, Legal, Operational Excellence and Human Resources, to lead integration project planning, financial synergy execution strategy and business restructuring efforts. As a consequence, the role requires strong partnering with the Operational Managers (Executive Sponsors, Champions and Process Owners) to embed a disciplined approach to quickly create and the capture value of the integration.

Qualifications:

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will ideally have 5+ years of professional business integration or equivalent experience in corporate change management and financial target execution, and be experienced in project management, client relationship management, cost reduction, M A synergy capture and/or operational restructuring.

• Strong project management tools and techniques such as developing a project plan, milestone plan, dependency identification, status reporting, and issue resolution as well as managing projects through a Project Management Office (PMO)
• Exceptional writing, editing and presentation skills

Education Industry
• A degree in business, finance, accounting, change management, communications with expertise in financial practices and/or project management principles is preferred
• Experience within consulting, pharmacy benefit management, healthcare, technology, financial or insurance industries are preferred
