Principle duties and responsibilities:
· Programming — Develop custom software using C#, Visual Basic, GHX tools, and third-party applications to perform the required interfacing functions.
· Transaction mapping — Write translation programs using integration software to translate between various transaction formats.
· Testing — Create and execute test plans. Assist with validation of implementations after deployment to production.
· Customer communications — Communicate directly with each customer’s technical staff to coordinate and complete project tasks.
· Documentation — Document each implementation in a clear and concise manner to facilitate support and future modification.
· Customer Support — Provide third tier support of production systems.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or a combination of education and related experience.
· C# or Java programming experience.
· Work effectively with minimal direction, learn quickly, and function effectively in a team environment.
· Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:
· EDI (ANSI/X12) and XML knowledge.
· Experience developing solutions to connect multiple computer systems.
· Visual Basic programming experience.
· MS Windows system development and/or administration
· Network development and/or administration
· Database development and/or administration
