Integration Specialist – Bloomberg Trading Solutions recruitment
The Role
Bloomberg's Trading Solutions business is enjoying an exciting period of growth and is currently seeking a dynamic, confident and self motivated individual to join its new and rapidly expanding team of Connectivity Integration Specialists at our headquarters in New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical integration between our clients and Bloomberg's world class Trading Systems. Integrations often involve designing and deploying solutions for clients utilizing XML/FIX messaging between their systems and the Bloomberg cloud. Typically, system integration includes the combined use of real-time XML messaging, XSLT transformations, Java scripting and Database scripting (e.g. ETL, triggers and stored procedures). Order Management and Trading Systems workflow experience is required including a demonstrable skill-set encompassing technology, communication and project management.
Responsibilities
-Technical consultancy and expertise
-Ownership and successful completion of integration initiatives
-Project management including troubleshooting and escalation both internally and with clients
-Application and evolution of Bloomberg best practices
-Design, configuration and deployment of integration of Trading interfaces between Bloomberg and Clients
Qualifications:
-Excellent written/oral communication skills
-Good presentation skills including written, graphic and verbal
-Proven Project Management skills
-Proven ability to independently drive successful engagements with clients
-Fluency in multiple languages a big plus especially: Spanish, Portuguese and French
Expert Knowledge/Experience of:
-FIX, XML
-Messaging (MQ, Tibco, MSMQ, Sonic, JMS)
-XSLT Transformations
-JavaScript, C# and/or Web Services, VB
-Database design and use (ETL, triggers, stored procedures) for RDBMSs (Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase, etc)
-Networks: WAN, LAN, Routing
-Target Source Systems such as: Charles River, PFS, Advent, EZE Castle, FMC, SSC, Calypso, etc.
-Microsoft Desktop Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project, Access
