Integration, Test & Acceptance Manager (Principal / Chief Engineer) Job in South, South East, Southern UK
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineering Manager to take the role of Integration, Test and Acceptance Manager (ITAM). The ITAM will be responsible for leading the Integration and Test activities and compiling the necessary body of evidence leading to the final customer acceptance.
- Defining and managing the integration planning process. This includes determining maturity targets and identifying critical system components in order to manage risk through the integration stages.
- Ensuring the stability, completeness and appropriateness of the system at key stages.
- Identifying opportunities to gather verification evidence to secure progressive acceptance of the product.
- Planning and implementing formal verification events
- Understanding the effects of changes to requirements and design and ensuring that the integrity of previously gathered verification evidence is maintained where possible
- Ensuring compliance with relevant company, project and national standards
- Compilation of evidence to support product verification including functional, performance and qualification testing, as well as, the outputs from modelling and analysis activities.
- Planning and day to day management and control of allocated work packages.
- Collection of necessary metrics and progress reporting
- Ensuring staffing requirements are defined and communicated
- Managing problem filter meetings, elevating technical issues as necessary
- Release management
- Systems engineering experience, including requirements management
- Integrating and testing complex systems
- Installation and trials
- Securing customer acceptance
- Underwater Systems experience desirable
- An Engineering or Science degree.
- An Engineering Manager with experience managing complex development programmes
- This role requires Security Clearance to UK Secret level
