Integrator Services Job in Montreal, Quebec Canada
Eagle is currently seeking one (1) Integrator Services. This contract position is projected to be six (6) months in length and begin April 2012.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Contributing to represent the technological exploitation of the various phases of project management processes (Design, Development, Deployment, post implantation);
- Planning and coordinating all activities within the technological projects of any scale (acquisition of hardware and software infrastructure, development environments, load tests, technological support, instrumentation monitoring and capacity / performance, office etc.);
- Participating in the drafting of the deliverables of technology integration within the project (detailed architecture, capacity planning, safety record and reports, organization of work operations, offering levels of service, kits and installation guides, assessment of projects);
- Making progress of technology integration activities;
- Ensuring the quality, monitoring and compliance of the schedule of deliverables. Achieve the post-implantation followed to ensure stability;
- Conducting operational coordination of resources involved in the contribution, the project and the various inter-related projects, see the control of quality of work, identification of standards, methods and procedures for the contribution;
- Managing changes requested, testing solutions and the implementation strategy based on the affected areas of expertise;
- Developing and implementing strategies for the transfer of knowledge to different resources depending on the operating area of expertise;
- Identifying opportunities for improvement, propose and recommend solutions to optimize and develop the processes and working methods;
- Working with technical architects (solution integrators), define high-level implementation plan;
- Conducting an impact assessment on the existing environment;
- Participating in the development of work plan and estimated time;
- Ensuring compliance with operational standards;
Participating and presenting the solution to change review meetings; - Creating notes and tracking changes in performance;
- Organizing and conducting technical meetings with members involved in the project;
- Restricting the use of technical resources in management meetings;
- Obtaining the technical information necessary to perform the tasks;
- Synchronizing tasks between teams;
- Publishing the articles;
- Monitoring the implementation;
- Ensuring that documentation is produced;
- Participating and preparing deliverables operating; and,
- Making acquisitions of necessary infrastructure (hardware and software).
Skills and Qualifications
The qualified candidate must have:
- Have worked in a similar position for at least 5 years;
- Knowledge of office software (Lotus Notes, Exchange, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project);
- Advanced knowledge of technology-platform (Wintel, Unix, Citrix, Central, MOSS, Oracle, SQL, VmWare, AS/400, telecom, telephony, office and Window);
- Knowledge of ITIL;
- Customer-oriented;
- Ability to maintain good relationships with colleagues;
- Ability to plan;
- Good management quality; and,
- Strong written communication skills.
