Intel Operations Specialist 4 Job in Tampa, Florida Us

Northrop Grumman Information Systems, through its Information Operations Operating Unit, is seeking an Operations and Deception Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals providing full spectrum support to Combatant Commanders and Department of Defense Organizations. The Specialist will apply advanced engineering, physical sciences, social sciences, or analytic principles in developing innovative solutions to counter improvised explosive devices and defeat IED networks. The Specialist shall be able to combine all aspects of Information operations (psychological operations, military deception, electronic warfare, computer network operations, and operations security) with Special Technical Operations (STO) when planning and conducting operations. The Specialist must contribute using the Joint Operations Planning Process; have a working knowledge of improvised explosive device (IED) construction, usage, and TTP; have familiarity with DoD acquisition policy and processes as well as Joint security policy.

Members will be on a team that deploys to Afghanistan or Iraq for up to six months on a rotational basis based out of Tampa, FL.

Basic Qualifications:

The Specialist must be a graduate of any Service military deception course with at least a year of operational experience, and work as a member of a team with strong interpersonal, writing and speaking skills, and support mission accomplishment with minimal guidance and supervision. .

The candidate must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and have operational expertise with an OSD/Joint Staff/Combatant Command. The applicant must also have a current CI polygraph or be willing to submit to one as a condition of employment. Minimum of bachelors degree with 9 years military experience or 13 years experience in lieu of degree. This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.

Preferred Experience:

STO Planning experience and military deception experience in the CENTCOM AOR is a plus
