Job Summary

The Technical Manager will be responsible for ensuring the Intelligence team meets all compliance requirements for the technical outputs delivered to clients (internal and external) and relevant legislation in addition to acting as Principle Point of Contact for a number of clients and customers and providing technical training to staff and customers.


Core Responsibilities

Devising policies, procedures and training plans to ensure all staff are aware of the standards expected.Conducting regular reviews of the standards and recommending improvements where necessary.

Ensuring that a robust Quality Assurance Framework is in place and adhered to. Undertaking technical supervision and quality audits on completed work using the agreed Quality Assurance Framework, ensuring outputs meet the required standards. This will include Liaising with Operational managers to provide relevant feedback to individuals.

Delivering technical training to members of the Intelligence Team including the successful completion of the induction program for new starters.

Ensure all staff are aware of and comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation.

Provide a technical referral service to Intelligence staff to resolve complex issues on a day to day basis.

Manage your own caseload of files achieving performance and quality standards

Assist the Intel Business Unit Director in managing the relationships with internal and external users of the service.

Under take ad-hoc project work as directed by the Intel Business Unit Director

Maintain up to date knowledge of the fraud and intelligence markets and propose changes to existing systems and processes to maintain a market leading service.

To ensure compliance with the Solicitors Code of Conduct 2007 (as amended).
