Intellectual Property Coordinator
As our Intellectual Property Coordinator you will assist our Innovation Center in various tasks. You will be part of a young, dynamic and expanding organization. We are passionate to make a difference, working with precision, speed and most of all, dedication to Imagineering. The position is based in Switzerland and reports directly to our IPR Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The job amongst others includes the following responsibilities:
- Manage the maintenance of patents and copyrights, ensuring that internal IP policies are abided by, and make sure that deadlines for patent office actions are not missed
- Manage trademark portfolio, including all domestic and international trademarks
- Assist with other general corporate work as requested including contract review
- Manage payments to third party IP resources and anticipate budget deviations
- Maintain the monthly patent watch database, update the legal status of relevant competitor’s patents and inform the IP manager of significant or unusual IP activities
- Instigate Freedom To Operate (FTO) searches and update status for all current products
- Carry out preliminary patent searches on new technologies
- Gather and update the status of patent portfolios from companies under evaluation
- Coordination signatures and legalizations documents for patent and TM filing/maintenance/stop and with legalization with lawyer worldwide
PERSONAL PROFILE
As our Coordinator, Intellectual Property, you:
- Hold B.Sc. in chemistry, biology, engineering
- Have experience in intellectual property
- Have 0-3 years corporate experience
- Are very organized
- Are fluent in English, French is an advantage
- Have good knowledge of International law
- Possess good organization and commitment skills, you are open-minded and team-oriented
- Have great interest in working with legal issues in an international perspective and a dynamic environment
