Intelligence Strategic Planner-TS/SCI Required-Bolling AFB, WDC
CSC is seeking an Intelligence Strategic Planner to support the Defense Intelligence Agency at Bolling AFB, WDC. A TS/ SCI clearance is required-candidates without such a clearance will NOT be considered. The selected candidate will maintain awareness of requirements related to developing technical tactics, long-term planning, and tasking requirements; coordinate with Counter-Intelligence (CI) and Human Intelligence (HUMINT) personnel on technical support services in order to forecast future technical needs; analyze historical data, current demands, current requirements, strategic policy, and goals in order to write technical forecasts; research, develop, and present intelligence products at the operational and strategic level; provide technical writing advice and feedback; participate in the CI and HUMINT operations cycle; travel on temporary duty (TDY to CONUS and OCONUS) locations. Selected candidates must possess HUMINT and CI-related covert communications/asset validation background. Essential Job Functions Assists in preparing intelligence documents through intelligence gathering using multiple intelligence sources such as human intelligence (HUMINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), measurement and signal intelligence (MASINT), open source intelligence (OSINT) to support customers including military, intelligence, law enforcement or security agencies. Assists in processing information about situations and entities of strategic, operational or tactical importance; characterizes possible future actions and identifies possible courses of action. Assists in analyzing current intelligence holdings, identifying potential shortfalls, gaps and vulnerabilities to develop subsequent collection requirements. Assists in developing intelligence products, threat analyses, production support, and tailored intelligence products such as fusion intelligence, warning intelligence, estimative intelligence or psychological profiling. Develops briefings, reports and short notice position papers; submits appropriate documentation to relevant databases, mining those databases as needed and as identified to further compile and analyze information. Assists in identifying potential targets including assessing targets of opportunity, providing geographic, photographic and threat-related information to appropriate parties such as the military. Assists with processing incoming reports and messages, determining significance and reliability of incoming information. Integrates incoming intelligence and operational information to maintain situation awareness displays. Assists developing periodic and special intelligence reports, plans and briefings. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, public policy, psychology or related field preferred Graduate of an intelligence training school or equivalent Two or more years of intelligence analysis experience Experience working with intelligence organizations Experience working with intelligence processes, policies and procedures Experience working with multiple intelligence sources Experience working with specialized specific intelligence sources such as human intelligence (HUMINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), measurement and signal intelligence (MASINT), open source intelligence (OSINT) and possibly developing subject matter expertise in that particular discipline Possess security clearance as needed-TS/SCI required Other Qualifications CI/HUMINT experience required Covert Communications/Asset Validation experience required Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members Communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel Analytical and problem solving skills for investigating security issues Ability to work with intelligence databases and related tools Ability to work in a team environment Willingness to travel
