Position Description:
SunGard provides an integrated solution suite for asset/liability management, budgeting and planning, regulatory compliance, and profitability. SunGard's banking solutions also manage all aspects of universal banking including back-office transaction processing, front-office multichannel delivery, card management and payments.
At SunGard we are looking for an experienced and motivated Pre-Sales Consultant who can successfully deliver key messages about the SunGard IntelliMatch solution set (automated enterprise reconciliation) via presentation and product demonstration.

The successful candidate will provide business and technical expertise as well as becoming a market expert in order to understand the competitive offerings and their differentiators in the market.

Key Duties.
o Perform sales presentations and deliver solution demonstrations
o Provide coverage at relevant trade forums and other customer events
o Identify and qualify customers' business and functional requirements in order to obtain initial project estimates and identify solution gaps
o Respond to RFIs / RFP / queries in a timely and professional manner
o Clearly articulate the benefits and value proposition of the IntelliMatch solution set
o Help build and maintain global Pre-Sales processes, supporting documentation and collateral
o Help to develop new business opportunities across other SunGard business segments
o Be aware of industry trends, drivers and regulatory initiatives
o Work with marketing and product strategy teams to identify and research new market verticals and opportunities

Position Requirements:
Esssential:

o Substantial experience working in a Bank within Operations, Reconciliations, Investigations or Treasury, and / or equivalent experience within a software company as a Pre-Sales / Professional Services consultant in a relevant business area.
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent
o Understanding of pre- and post-trade operations across the financial services industry
o In-depth knowledge of reconciliation, compliance and exception processing
o Understanding of the entire sales cycle, from market research through contract signing
o Analytical and consultative approach to client engagements
o Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team
o Ability to organise, prioritise, and multi-task
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Outstanding presentation abilities

Desirable:
o Middle Eastern or European Experience within banking, professional services or pre-sales would be advantageous but not essential
o Experience of working with SQL Databases
o Experience of Crystal report writing
