Interactive Designer - UI Design - UX Design - JavaScript - ActionScript
We are globally recognized Lifestyle Accessories Brand that is continuing to expand Globally. Because of the success of our products, we are looking to add a Interactive Designer here in our San Diego, CA, headquarters.
The ideal candidate will have experience in design, development, and project management. This will include UI/UX design, front-end development, and even leading a junior Developer. Additionally, the candidate must have an expert understanding of graphic design principles from typography to color and composition.
What you need for this position:
- Bachelors or Associates in Graphic Arts or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in User Experience and Interaction Design with a strong portfolio of web projects
- Strong understanding of UI and UX design
- Experience using typographical, graphical, navigation, and web standards best practices
- Strong understanding/expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ActionScript, PhotoShop, and Illustrator; Flash is a plus
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the Interactive Design, you will be responsible for taking projects from concept to completion
- Creating wireframes, mock-ups, and screen flows as proof of concept prototypes
- Taking projects from design to development; this will also include corporate websites, microsites, landing pages, and email marketing campaigns
- Work directly with Studio Manager to design and deliver solutions
- Leading a junior developer, you will also be responsible for Front-End design
