JOB DESCRIPTION

This group trade a range of vanilla and exotic products and one of the traders recently moved internally to another region, creating this opportunity for an external hire. The most obvious hire would be to bring someone to look after the Bermudan book as their primary responsibility, but the group is able to accommodate a more exotic focused trader as there is potential for internal fluidity. The group trade predominantly USD but also do play in peripheral markets in time zone as well as non-time zone G10). The role would involve taking full ownership of one book but will not be limited to that and there is a genuine freedom to proactively trade different products and markets. The desk is very well positioned in the market having a substantial client flow having on invested significantly in sales and structuring over the last 12 months.

REQUIRED:

Our client is looking for candidates who have traded complex rate products at another top tier institution and who already developed a strong reputation in the market. The team are all extremely talented technically but also as communicators – and the candidate must share these characteristics. Typically, those who have gained MScs or PhD’s from the leading universities are most likely to be successful. There is no preference regarding exposure to certain products or markets.
