Interest Rate product Controller
A large Investment Bank is looking to recruit an individual who has previously worked in a line role with a full understanding of the end to end trade flow of IR Derivative products. The successful candidate will work in the Business Control team and will also be tasked with implementing the Strategic Initiatives within the area.
The candidate will manage a team and be required to have strong analytical and communication skills, combined with a good understanding of the business environment. You will be required to:
-Oversee the PL Production and reporting.
-Deal with all front office queries relating to PL
-Manage preparation of daily balance sheet and PL reconciliations
-Liaise with Operations and Finance to investigate and clear cash breaks
-Coordination of Month End reporting and reconciliation requirements
-Innovate and improve upon the effectiveness, efficiency and scalability of the existing processes
-Communication of issues to senior management
-Manage, train and retain a team controllers
-Identify, support and manage training and development of the team.
