Interface Project Manager Job

Currently we are looking for an individual who has experience in the healthcare sector and interest in driving technology solutions in this environment. Our opening for an Interface Project Manager utilizes strong mult-tasking skills managing multiple projects across hospitals, labs and EHR's.
Responsibilities of the Interface Project Manager include:
1. Utilize the software tools, policies, and guidelines available to concurrently drive multiple projects to completion on time.
2. Articulate recommendations to both internal and external project team members on how to resolve issues discovered during validation of the interface test plan.
3. When necessary, work with system vendors to ensure project resources are assigned and ready to begin.
4. Effectively communicate project goals, timelines, and deliverables to entire project team, and obtain agreement on the timeline from the team.
5. Effectively communicate status of assigned projects both verbally and in writing to management.
6. Effectively communicate roadblocks, and identify mitigation strategies for project risks, escalating at-risk projects to management.
Qualified applicants should possess the following:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of college and experience.
- Medical Technology and/or LIS a plus.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in healthcare informatics system integration and/or support, preferably focusing on systems integration project management or project participation desired.
- Experience with training, giving presentations, and managing meetings.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of strategic, logical and creative technical solutions to challenging problems.
- In depth understanding of a clinical laboratory process and clinical testing methodologies preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills and an attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet scheduling needs of customers across multiple time-zones.
- Highly self-motivated, professional, take-charge attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required and Microsoft Project helpful.
- Ability to interact with all levels of co-workers and clients.
