Interim Accountant
My client is a well-established mid-sized London law firm with circa 300 employees across three offices. They have a reputation of providing excellent service to niche, high value clients. The firm is proud of it's history and tradition but also operates a strong commercial ethos. There is a positive culture within the business, being extremely productive within work but also running regular social events and also respecting employees work / life balance. Due to a maternity leave they have a vacancy for a minimum of six months to support the finance function.
This is a varied role, which will involve both financial, and management accounting. It will involve working with the partners to help them review client revenue, supporting the month end close process, ensuring the balance sheet is reconciled, running test samples for audit to ensure compliance with solicitors accounts rules and ensuring regulatory and VAT returns are completed.
My client is looking for a management or financial accountant who is qualified and has experience of working in a law firm or that will have gained experience of auditing legal firms whilst in practice.
