Interim Group Financial Controller
My client is a global financial services firm specialising in Insurance and Investment Management products based in South London. The business currently requires a Group Financial Controller to come on board for a minimum of 6 months paying £75-85k dependent on experience. A daily rate is possible.
Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director responsibilities will include:
· Overseeing the monthly Group consolidation process
· Overseeing the production of the monthly Group Board pack including:
o Production of board pack commentary
o Production of board pack schedules - PL, balance sheet and cash flows
o KPI reporting
· Bank reporting
· Running the Group budget, forecast and long range plan process including liaising with budget holders and all key stakeholders
· Production of the Group statutory accounts
· Ensuring the Group is compliant with all relevant accounting technical pronouncements and standards
· Ensuring appropriate financial controls and processes are in place throughout the Group including involvement in the production of the Group Finance Control manual
· Liaison with internal audit
· Assist with ad hoc finance projects
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant or equivalent with Financial Controller level experience with both strong technical accounting knowledge and good commercial awareness. Insurance experience is ideal but not a prerequisite. Please apply now quoting reference DAH155398.
