Interim Head of Management Reporting
Ambition are recruiting for a leading Investment firm that is looking to hire an Interim Head of Management Reporting on a six month temporary basis. This business has continued to thrive throughout this period of economic turbulence, much of this is attributed to the calibre of staff they hire.
The company is looking for a Interim Head of Management Reporting to oversee the re-engineering of the budgeting and forecasting processes; the individual will be responsible for delivering the team's BAU and strategic objectives.
The key responsibilities will include:
-Review and oversee reporting processes for a team that is responsible for budgeting, quarterly revenue and cost forecasting, producing internal MI and supporting strategic initiatives.
-Point of contact for Group Finance around regular monthly reporting and ad hoc queries.
-Regularly interacting with CFO/FD for escalation of issues and overall monitoring of KPIs.
-Managing a series of change projects and driving through process enhancement.
In order to be considered for the role, you will require:
-Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas equivalent experience) is essential
-Managing a large team in which you can demonstrate a track record of success and delivering projects on time is essential
-Project management experience around re-engineering MI reporting from an accounting perspective is essential
-Financial Services experience is essential; any asset management experience would be useful
-Experience of using Hyperion/Essbase is essential
-Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and build the confidence of senior investment professionals
