Interim Operations Manager Job in Kent, Southern UK
The roles and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- Support to the Head of Mortgage Servicing with day to day activities
- Provision of leadership to an operational team of around 100 individuals
- Dealing with a broad range of customers, tailoring written / oral responses as necessary
- Act as a point of contact regarding human resources procedures, health and safety regulations and employment law
The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience of holding a similar role within a financial services organisation
- Familiarity of the procedures surrounding human resources
- Working knowledge of employment and health and safety regulations
- Good comprehension of banking and the financial services industry
- Strong leadership and management skills as well as ability to utilise influence and negotiation where applicable
- Experience of mortgage servicing is desired, but not a prerequisite
