Interim Programme Manager

To lead and drive the establishment and delivery of the roadmap of change to a pension scheme offering to meet strategic direction objectives.

The role will be responsible for working with sponsors to establish:
• the scope, scale and sequencing of required scheme changes
• the available internal and external solution options and their viability with regards to legislative, institution, member, delivery, operational, commercial and timeframe considerations
• an internal and, if required, external delivery team to implement the agreed technical and business solution
• a business case and delivery plan for solution delivery that ensures that desired benefits are delivered in line with the organisations strategy, vision and values
• delivery governance in line with Change Delivery governance

The role will then be required to deliver business and technical solutions for the scoped scheme changes to required quality, cost and timeframes and ensuring operational readiness for its deployment.

The role will require the following skills:

 comprehensive knowledge of pensions scheme structures, benefits, operation, regulation and marketplace
 previous experience of establishing a programme of work through sponsor engagement, development and feasibility assessment of solution options
 previous experience of successfully delivering a programme of work requiring joint business and technical delivery
 previous experience of delivering pensions scheme changes
 commercial and delivery management of third party partners
 previous experience of operating at board level
