INTERIM SENIOR REGULATORY REPORTING MANAGER

 

 

The purpose of this role is to be a Regulatory Reporting subject matter expert and provide assistance to the line team;

- In order to achieve the above it is expected that the incumbant will have to develop an understanding of the existing architecture as well as providing cover on occassions for manager level review of daily / monthly work produced by junior team members;

- The incumbant will interact with the Finance Change team on a regular basis working towards a smooth transition over the 3 project phases, as well as significant liason with the Reporting (line) and Policy teams;

- Act as a key point of contact from the line for the Regulatory Architecture Renewal project;

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for reviewing daily / monthly line work, including challenging the numbers /commentaries and encouraging other team members to ‘raise the bar’;

- Key member of Regulatory Reporting team, reporting to the Director, Head of Regulatory Reporting

- Responsible for some daily / monthly line work and improving controls around existing processes;

- Responsible for contributing to RAR project streams on time and working in conjunction with the existing Reporting / Policy / Finance Change functions. On occasions this may include taking a leading role on the project direction, including escalation of material issues and any delays.

EDUCATION /OR EXPERIENCE

Required

• Prior experience of working on Change projects in a banking environment in a senior capacity;

• Good working knowledge of existing BIRU rules and of CRD IV proposals

• Project cycle experience

Preferred

• Experience of leading Regulatory projects

• Accounting qualification

• Risk/Product Control background
