Long-standing high-end residential interior design firm seeks Full Time Office Manager

 

Exciting opportunity for an individual with a love for creativity, assisting people, and keeping an office organized.  Candidate will wear many hats and must be capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.  We hope to find the right candidate who will grow with us.

 

Responsibilities include:

-         Project follow-up (issue payments, invoicing, monitoring order progress)

-         Seeing the big picture of how all actions tie together to complete the jobs at hand

-         Doing what it takes to get the job done

-         Administrative Duties: handling phones, ordering supplies, tidying office spaces kitchen area, setting up for meetings, greeting clients and guests, etc.

-         Create and issue various documents in Excel and Word to complete both project-related and office-related demands

 

Candidate must be:

-         extremely organized detail oriented

-         excellent written, verbal interpersonal skills

-         Positive demeanor and professionalism

-         Willing to learn our organizational system and master it

-         Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word Excel required, Knowledge of Mac platform a plus)

-     Knowledge of Quickbooks also a plus

-         Able to multi-task and help with Principal’s daily schedule

-         Able to problem solve

-         A team player

-         Willing to handle bigger jobs, as well as arranging  messenger pick-ups.

 

Previous experience in a design office is preferred.

Previous office manager experience also preferred.
