Interior Designer Job in Atlanta 30324, Georgia US

Exciting opportunity for a local, experienced, driven and productive Interior Designer to flourish within a growing Atlanta boutique Interior Design firm.  The firm’s clients include both commercial and residential builder group sectors.  Project types include student housing, multi-family, tenant build-out, single-family and townhome developments. 

 

Responsibilities include; but are not limited to:

    1.     Ability to take charge and succeed within a small business environment

2.     Space planning with basic knowledge applicable building codes, ADA compliance, etc. 

3.     Creative skill set in Interior Exterior Finish selections

4.     Selection, budgeting and procurement of FFE

5.     Production of construction documents using AutoCAD

6.     Manage process during construction phase

7.     Ability to produce design concepts in electronic 3D software (i.e. 3ds Max)

8.     Effective coordination within design team to meet document deliverables

9.     Establish and maintain productive relationships with material vendors

10.   Communicate ideas effectively when interfacing with owners, architects and homeowners

11.   Ability to present and sell your design concepts with friendly confidence

12.   Ability to take charge with little supervision/direction

13.   Model Design Center Staging and Installations

Qualifications

1.     B.S. Degree in Interior Design at a FIDER accredited institution; NCIDQ preferred

2.     3+ years experience that must include work producing contract documents in AutoCAD preferred

3.     Must be flexible, organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, organized and adept at time management

4.     Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must

5.     Computer proficiency is required in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD

6.     Experience in above market sectors

7.     Candidates with the credentials to sign and seal interior documents a plus

18.00 - 30.00 per hour
