Expanding brand seeks dynamic INTERIOR DESIGNER

 

Rapidly expanding, luxury European manufacturer with showrooms across the globe is seeking an interior designer to work on both residential and commercial projects.

 

We are looking for a designer with a minimum 3 years experience in both residential and commercial interior design.  Based in Miami, the role will initially offer support to our existing US showrooms and their residential projects.

 

For the right candidate there will be the opportunity to grow to become an integral part of a new in-house interior design division that will focus heavily on contract and large scale, luxury residential work.  The position will be supported by two lines of luxury furniture (one residential and one contract), but the candidate must have the ability to design custom pieces when necessary. They must also be adept at adapting existing product on a per project basis and sourcing complimentary pieces from elsewhere.

 

Requirements:

CAD

Photoshop

Illustrator

3D Studio Max (or similar)

Excel

Hand Drawing/Rendering Skills.

Ability to work from architectural plans, create RCP’s, kitchen and bath design etc.

Ability to create both digital and hand crafted boards/presentations.

Outgoing, confident personality with excellent communication skills.

Excellent initiative and motivation.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to work as part of a team and as a team leader when necessary.

Some travel may be required.

 

Experience:

Minimum 3 years experience.

Ability to present to board-level clients.

Experience with residential and commercial projects.

Contacts within the residential/commercial property development industry.

Extremely proficient at space planning.

Candidate must have managed project sites and worked directly with contractors.

 

It is strongly preferred the candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish.
