Description Responsible for moderately complex financial activities involving the implementation of strategic plans, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting for a line of business or staff area. Works on activities and projects with others with the business unit. May lead small projects and coordinate resources. In some cases, will act as team leader. The financial analyst is responsible for expense management, enterprise management, and building business/client relationships, through gathering financial information, analyzing it and making recommendations in a very fast paced environment. Requires thorough operations knowledge of Accounts Payable, Employee Expense Reimbursement and Fixed Asset operations usually gained through 5, or more, years of operations experience. This position is also responsible for negotiating with vendors in various occasions to obtain the appropriate information to support the banks initiative for expense reduction and increased revenue Qualifications Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting with 5, or more, years of experience in finance operations. Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to work independently. Must be results oriented and accountable for achieving objectives. Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office programs and able to work with large spreadsheets, data and information in support of operational and strategic objectives. Detail-oriented, motivated to seek out obscure information and provide actionable analysis based on data.
