Intermediary Business Development Executive recruitment
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a clear understanding and be fully conversant with Nikko AM solution set and be able to provide credible explanations to intermediary clients. Have the ability to sell the value proposition to a broad audience demonstrating a thorough understanding of the investment process and Nikko AM business model.
- Partner with the business development team on completing account mapping and sales plan including servicing requirements and call program in salesforce.com/ equivalent.
- Provide client focused content and presentations in response to client enquiries. Support key target market segments and clients, prioritize to focus efforts on highest opportunities in line with business development priorities.
- Work with wider Nikko AM teams to maximize success. Coordinate and ensure these resources are brought to bear to maximize effectiveness in a resource-considered manner.
- As appropriate, represent Nikko AM for broader client engagement needs, i.e. conferences, seminars and roadshows.
- Manage collateral and client database. Remain well informed on industry and regulatory issues. Stay abreast of strategy, research and product efforts within the firm.
Function:
- Ensure expedient and accurate resolution of all incoming inquiries by intermediary clients.
- Prepare and produce general and customized sales decks/ presentations that comply with Nikko AM’s strategic sales themes
- Follow collateral production process to ensure continuity of product and compliance approval
- Support servicing requirements for tier 1 client base in partnership with business development team
- Where appropriate, prospect and educate potential and tier 2 clients.
- Collect categorize and maintain updated client data, mapping the clients’ investment profile, organizational structure, key contacts and our opportunity/ priorities
- Prepare activity and summary sales reports for management
- Collect and track AUM metrics within our client base
- Collate and distribute sales feedback to the product development team
- Gather and evaluate market intelligence
- Coordinate cross selling opportunities where appropriate
- Communicate and coordinate with product development, investment, compliance and institutional sales teams
Knowledge and Skill:
- Significant investment knowledge
- Must have outstanding written and oral communication skills in English. Fluent Mandarin is highly preferred.
- Strong intellect, high integrity, high quality standards. Strong control environment awareness and attention to detail.
- Must be self reliant, resourceful and proactive, at the same time a team player who is able to operate credibly and leverage the firm’s resources and global infrastructure.
- Highly motivate individual with a commitment to excellence.
Experience and Qualifications :
- BA/BS degree in related field (Economics, Finance, Accounting)
- 3 years experience in a high quality, multi-product investment firm with proven expertise in selling complex investment products to intermediary clients
