The Department:
The OTC Derivatives Connectivity supports Rates, Credit and Derivatives clearing IT in connecting to middleware providers (e.g. MarkitWire) and CCPs (e.g. LCH). The successful candidate would be responsible for:
- Development of Citi's connections to external middleware providers and CCPs (Central Counterparties)
- Design of components within the connectivity domain
- Liaison and collaboration on the definition of interfaces between the connectivity components and other systems in the bank (e.g. TPS)
- These roles are expected to work closely with: Other technical and analyst team members in Belfast, London NY to ensure a coherent and robust solution environment. This is an important position in an area of the bank (and financial industry as a whole) which is undergoing significant change due to market regulatory initiatives.

The Person:
The successful candidate will need to be a hands-on self-starter, capable of working with others in different regions as well as those on the ground in Belfast.

Essential Criteria:
- Computer Science/Software Engineering or Games Development degree, 2:1 and above
- Experienced in Java Programming (ideally two years commercial experience)
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Citi is located in the heart of Belfast's growing Titanic Quarter, a 5 minute walk from the 'Titanic Quarter, Bridgend' train station, a 15 minute walk from the City Centre, with an excellent public transport infrastructure and adequate car parking facilities it's an ideal location to work.
