Intermediate Network Administrator
We are actively searching out an Intermediate Network Administrator to join our team in servicing our client's needs. Since our clients come from a wide range of industries, it makes this position perfect for the individual who likes a challenge and new problems on a regular basis.
We are based in West Seneca, near the 400 and Union Road.
Binatech System Solutions provides managed IT services to a wide range of clients in WNY and Southern ON.
This will be primarily an in-house position with local on site client work as required.
We are seeking professionals who can:
Handle level 1 and 2 support calls and escalate as required
Design and help implement Servers and networks in conjunction with the client's primary technician
Deal effectively with clients and management teams
Proactively see and address potential client risks
Have the ability to grow technically and expand through company training and self study
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and plan and maintain servers, desktops and network infrastructure
Meet and aid in recommendations for system requirements and upgrades
Solve a wide range of issues remotely
Assist management in evaluating and recommending new technologies
Assist clients in recommending solutions and long term strategies
Manage day to day operations in all aspects of IT functions
Manage various backup and virtual solutions
Create and maintain documentation for software, hardware and network administration
Deal with external vendors
Handle daily ticket workflow for clients
Other Qualifications and Skills/Experience:
2-5 years of experience in current technologies, including Server 2008, Exchange 2010, Windows 7
Antispam, antivirus and wireless technologies
Well versed in firewall and vpn technologies
Strong hands on exposure
Citrix and VMWare exposure would be beneficial
Proven track record of delivering results and committed to operational and service excellence
Excellent communication skills
Team player with the ability to work under pressure
Ability to do overtime as required
Ability to work independently
