Apply basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of mechanical and electromechanical components of commercial aircraft seating systems. ? May prepare plan specifications and cost estimates for assignments of moderate difficulty with technical supervision providing an outline of tasks to be performed and suggestions of methods of approach and procedures. Conduct analysis or tests of routine degree of complexity pertaining to the development of new designs, methods, materials, or processes. Perform CAD drafting duties including detailed drawings, dimensioning, parts lists entering, etc. Perform other related duties as required. Job Requirements: A minimum of one year completed course work towards a Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical EngineeringEngineering Management. Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing roles; comfortable working towards firm deadlines for completion of work; and have desire to rapidly develop skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Must be available to work a minimum of 10 weeks.
