As a member of the Identity Access Management (IAM) COE team in Enterprise Risk Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development, design, management and application of Merck's identity and access management services. These services allow Merck to protect, control and maintain identity information for employees, contractors, partners and customers. This individual will become familiar with the complete range of IAM technologies including Directory Services, Provisioning, Federation, Role/Entitlement Reviews, Authentication and Access Management. The incumbent stays current with both internal and external IAM best practices and strategies. The incumbent's core responsibilities have global implications. The position's basic functions and responsibility in support of Merck's IAM infrastructure include: Participate on cross-functional Information Security project teams designing and developing secure business computing services in these areas: Access and Administration Automation Certificate and Encryption services Multi-Tier Authentication Services External Identity Services Qualifications Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree required Junior with computer science major preferred Required: Computer skills, good communication skills, familiarity with different operating systems Preferred: Web experience (ex Java programming) Concentration in information security Our employees are the key to our company's success.
