We currently have an opening for an Intern - Finance and Analysis at our corporate office in Hampton, NH.
Job Summary
As a member of one or more project teams, the Intern under the guidance of a senior member of the finance group, will complete various tasks aiding the overall team in the completion of the project. While these tasks will vary by project, they will be business oriented such as financial modeling or market research/analysis with the goal of providing the intern an opportunity to gain practical experience in the business world prior to graduation while contributing to the overall success of the Wheelabrator team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Uses problem solving skills, determines problems, and understand fundamental parts of the problem.
- Conducts analysis as directed, and prepares and delivers insights and recommendations based on analysis.
- Synthesizes findings and draws conclusions from analyses and makes oral/written recommendations to supervisor and/or manager.
- Executes tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
- Communicates issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility.

Education and Experience
Required: Interns must have a High school diploma or G.E.D., and be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other field of study relevant to the internship.
Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
