- Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments
- Ability to test product and peform Packaging Analysis
- Perform dilutions and titrate chemicals
- Maintenance and Development of SOP
- Read and Comprehend technical manuals
- Perform audits to ensure requirements are being met
- Review and file paperwork
- Work on projects to ensure Quality product is going to all customers
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for out of spec material
- Attending College and make progress toward a Bachelor's Degree or higher in any science related field
- Knowledge and understand of Microbiology and aseptic techniques
- Has strong analytical skills
- Knowledgeable about lab safety and food safety - HACCP
- Course work or experience with statistics, specifically SPC
- Possess strong organizational and record keeping skills
- Has good written and oral communication skills to interact with all plant personnel
- Professional/technical knowledge and/or laboratory experience in a team based environment preferred
- Good computer skills in Excel, Word and Power Point
- Approx 20 hours per week
